Assured Information Security (AIS), a trusted partner to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government, today announced it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 following an assessment conducted by an accredited CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), iPower LLC.
This certification underscores AIS’s long-standing commitment to protecting sensitive government information and supporting critical national security missions. AIS is among the earliest organizations nationwide to achieve CMMC Level 2.
CMMC Level 2 certification validates AIS’s implementation of the security requirements outlined in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-171, confirming the company’s ability to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). This achievement further strengthens AIS’s position as a trusted member of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) supporting DoD programs that require rigorous cybersecurity controls.
“The achievement of CMMC Level 2 reflects the strength of our cybersecurity practices and our continued investment in protecting sensitive government data,” said Jeffrey Dailey, Chief Information Officer at AIS. “Being among the earliest organizations nationwide to achieve CMMC Level 2 reinforces that security has always been foundational to how AIS operates and underscores our commitment to our mission partners.”
