If you’ve ever walked through the front doors of AIS headquarters, you may have seen the pirate flag proudly waving on the flag pole. You may not know, though, that this flag has been an essential part of AIS’s identity since the beginning – even before the company officially existed.
When Charles Green was in the sixth grade, he had seen the inside of the principal’s office more times than he cared to remember. Oftentimes as a punishment, Green was sent down to the school’s computer lab to ‘think’ about his actions. His family didn’t own a computer, however, so little did his teachers and principal know, the computer lab was his favorite place to be.
