Our software and reverse engineers test an extensive range of computer systems to identify and mitigate emergent threat and vulnerabilities. We use a hacker mindset and provide expertise in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment to our customers in industries from the DoD and UAS, to automotive, maritime and agriculture. Our team members have diverse backgrounds; they each bring unique skill sets that improve the way we analyze, reverse engineer and develop hardware and software platforms. We focus on the complete analysis of target systems, including traditional software systems and network components, complex control systems and embedded devices.We approach challenging problems with novel, multi-disciplinary solutions that start as exploratory research and become game-changing tools, products and services. In an age where machine learning and cloud-based computing are being thrust into every aspect of cybersecurity, our expertise in a wide variety of disciplines enables us to be successful. Our engineers and research scientists have diverse skillsets and collaborate to perform truly innovative research in support of both our existing and the next generation of products and services.


Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Our interests include attribution, steganography, activity recognition, AI assistants, human-machine teaming, intelligent C2, realistic human behaviors towards deception, natural language processing, autonomous penetration testing, automatic fuzzing, introspection detection, hardware trojan detection and data synthesis.

Computer Architectures

We create, utilize and break computer architectures to develop novel techniques for both offensive and defensive security applications. Our current research areas include virtualization, trusted computing, secure execution environments, instruction set fuzzing, hardware implant detection, covert communication channels and embedded security techniques.

Behavioral Biometrics

We research and develop behavioral biometric solutions towards attribution, activity recognition and cognitive state detection. Our research includes both traditional computing devices and smartphones towards creating a better machine-understandable representation of operators and their behaviors.

Behavioral Science Research

We combine elements of psychology with traditional computer science and cybersecurity to better understand the human component of cyber. By leveraging our research in AI, machine learning and behavioral biometrics, we assist novice operators, predict behavior, model cognitive state and support teams of humans and machines.
