Adam Hovak To Present at CSfC and MilCIS Conferences This Fall

Adam Hovak, Operations Manager of the Cross Domain Virtualization Solutions (CDVS) Group at AIS, has a busy fall season ahead presenting at two major conferences in September and November.

On Wednesday, September 30, Hovak will speak at the virtual Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Conference. This event provides updates and an overview on CSfC program objectives as well as what is currently state-of-the-art in tactical CSfC technologies. The conference brings the entire industry value chain together: Product vendors, component suppliers, commercial testing laboratories, trusted integrators, standards organizations and government agencies.

On November 10 through 13, Hovak will be speaking at the virtual Military Communications and Information Systems (MilCIS) Conference, which welcomes military and government organizations, academia and defense industries. This conference facilitates a continuing dialogue between Department of Defense (DoD) employees, contractors, industry and researchers to discuss current and developing technological capabilities, project initiatives and operational requirements.

Hovak is an experienced information security professional with more than 20 years of design, development and deployment expertise working in cross domain related programs to include access and transfer solutions and transfer filters.  In his current role at AIS, he is privileged to be leading a brilliant team charged with building SecureView, an Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) program that simplifies classified network deployments using CSfC and a type 1 hypervisor, separating physical networks into discrete virtual machines. Adam has a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and holds a CISSP certification.
