Meet Eldar Hodzic, IT intern
Favorite part of the internship:
“Being around experienced professionals and learning from them while also being able to help out.”
💡 A valuable lesson learned:
Eldar learned how to terminate network cables and verify their functionality using a cable tester. This knowledge helped him successfully earn his CompTIA Network+ certification during his internship!
🖥️ A project he’s proud of:
Working with our IT team in a test environment to implement Windows AppLocker. Eldar developed a PowerShell script to generate test users and assign them to departments, helping validate AppLocker policies.
🎓 Education:
Associate degree from Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) and entering his final year at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where he’s pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity.
🚀 Future goals:
After graduation, Eldar hopes to begin a career in Offensive Security and Penetration Testing.
