CDVS Group Appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3

Members of the Cross Domain Virtualization Solutions (CDVS) Group at Assured Information Security (AIS) celebrate their level 3 appraisal by the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Institute.

AIS is pleased to announce its Cross Domain Virtualization Solutions (CDVS) Group, in partnership with Broadsword Solutions, has been appraised at level 3 by the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Institute. CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.

“We were rated at level 2 in 2018 so advancing to a level 3 rating was a natural next step for us,” said Adam Hovak, Operations Manager for the CDVS Group at AIS. “It’s a great accomplishment that could not have been done without the dedication of our team as well as many others at AIS. I’m excited to see where these investments in quality and excellence will take us in the coming years.”

This achievement is a result of the hard work of AIS employees, as well as its strategic partnership with Broadsword Solutions, a leader in performance innovation and process improvement. Broadsword provided integrated agileCMMI workshops, coaching and consulting solutions to help AIS achieve its capability goals. agileCMMI uses methods such as incremental delivery, continuous build and collaboration, applying the same techniques used when writing software to deploy process and help engineers embrace process.

“I want to congratulate and thank the team for their dedication that has led to this achievement,” said Charles Green, Chief Executive Officer at AIS. “CMMI maturity level 3 is part of our efforts to continuously improve our processes so that we can provide our customers cost savings along with reliable and consistent delivery.”
