We actively pursue R&D and technical support opportunities across the DoD and Intelligence Community. We staff positions within AFRL, Fort Meade, Lackland Air Force Base, DC3, the 55th Wing and other locations providing cyber R&D support, reverse engineering, software development, intelligence support, cyber forensics and training. We’re also currently contributing to seven different DARPA contracts and two IARPA contracts. AIS is a prime contractor for the Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) Information Directorate’s Agile Cyber Technology (ACT) 2 Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The objective of ACT 2 is to provide a focused and flexible rapid contracting vehicle for AFRL, other military Program Offices and the operational community to support rapid research, development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation and transition of cyber capabilities. As part of the ACT 2 program, performers have a requirement to perform multiple activities necessary to achieve AFRL’s vision of cyber superiority. Emphasis includes a) development of technology capability solutions that address specific user requirements; b) delivery of prototype technologies for evaluation and feedback in the context of the user’s operational environment; and c) provision of a mechanism for user acquisition of limited product quantities required for operational introduction of products. The technical requirements encompasses rapid research and development, prototyping, demonstration, scenario development, experimentation and evaluation, integration, testing, technical installation and support, transition and sustainment of innovative capabilities in support of cyber superiority in the following areas: 1) Threat Avoidance and Cyber Defense, 2) Full Spectrum Cyber Operations, 3) Network Exploitation, 4) Situation and Mission Awareness, 5) Command and Control, 6) Modeling, Simulation, and Wargaming, 7) Cyber Infrastructure, and 8) Mission Assurance.

AIS is a subcontractor to Quanterion on the Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center (CSIAC). CSIAC provides scientific and technical information to the user community in four technology areas: Software Data & Analysis, Information Assurance (IA), Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Knowledge Management/Information Sharing.
As a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin, AIS’s Maryland office provides cyber forensics and information technology solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Crime Center (DC3). Our technology solutions include senior technical advisory services, digital forensics examinations, cyber analysis and forensics tool development. This award is for one base year with four option years and expands our growing cyberspace solutions business.
AIS is a subcontractor to American Systems on DISA’s Encore II IDIQ contract. Encore II provides DISA, the DoD and other federal agencies with a convenient way to purchase the full range of IT solutions, from IT Engineering and Integration to hardware/software procurements and IT Operational Support services.
AIS is a subcontractor to multiple primes, large and small, on the Global Intelligence Support Services (GISS) program for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command. This IDIQ establishes an enterprise approach to provide responsive, competitive services acquisition for current and future Army intelligence, security and information operations requirements and related support services.
SPAWAR Cyberspace MAC
AIS is a subcontractor to Vencore, Inc on the SPAWAR Cyberspace MAC. The SPAWAR MAC provides Cyberspace Science, Research, Engineering and Technology Integration to the United States Navy. This contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide cyberspace science, research, engineering and technology integration to the United States Navy Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center Pacific.
