Education and Tuition Assistance Plan

My training and professional focus has traditionally always been in the cybersecurity research domain, but we don’t just do cybersecurity research here at AIS – we do cybersecurity business. As such, I was interested in pursuing an MBA to round out my training so that I could better understand and support the business side of things too.

Luckily, I work for a company that believes in investing in its employees, and thus I was able to use AIS’ education and tuition reimbursement plan to do just that.

I completed my MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2019, and AIS paid 100 percent of my tuition and for all my books along the way. This is an absolutely fantastic employment perk that has benefited me tremendously. Looking forward, I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to improve how I run research projects, pursue business development and support the organization in general.

I’ve learned a lot from earning my MBA that will be very useful as my career at AIS progresses. I’m grateful that the company has this incredible benefit in place that has enabled me to pursue my interests and not only improve my career, but better myself as well.
