At AIS, we believe in supporting organizations and events that align with our company values and have a positive impact in both the technology space and our communities. We’re also proud to work with generous employees who are committed to the same belief. Here is a snapshot of our sponsorships and activities in 2022.
During our summer employee picnic, we worked with local non-profit, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to build 28 beds for children in need in Central New York. Twenty-five employees and family members volunteered their time to assemble the beds and together, raised $1,000 for the community. AIS also made a monetary donation to cover the cost of all materials.
We host an annual workplace campaign encouraging AIS employees to donate to the United Way of the Mohawk Valley, an organization committed to better people’s lives through programs that are focused on the building blocks of a good quality life – education, health and income stability. More than $6,000 was raised during our annual campaign.
In the fall of 2022, we partnered with Project Fibonacci as a corporate sponsor of a benefit concert aimed at raising funds for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities for students in our communities.
Our first onsite blood drive in collaboration with the American Red Cross was held in October. Fifteen units of blood were donated by employees and a date was solidified for a second blood drive at AIS in early 2023.
