ROME, NY – Assured Information Security Inc. (AIS) in Rome, New York, has been awarded a multi-million dollar General Services Administration (GSA) 00CORP Professional Services Schedule contract.
The contract provides a funding mechanism for any federal government department or agency to award a contract to AIS in a simple, expedited manner. U.S. Government agencies used GSA 00CORP to buy nearly $800 million in services last year.
This GSA contract will open the doors for future awards and government sales,” said Charles Green, CEO of AIS. “We are very grateful for the support and actions from our Congressional Delegation — particularly Senators Gillibrand and Schumer, along with Congresswoman Tenney. We also had great support from Empire State Development, all of which were critical in enabling us to complete these negotiations with GSA.”
The GSA contract allows AIS to pursue new markets and expand its presence in existing markets. The company works closely with several Federal Agencies who can now purchase AIS products and services through the 00CORP contract from the Federal Supply Schedule administered by GSA.
Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Rome, New York, AIS is an information technology company that has played a leading role in supporting critical cyber operations for the federal government, working with both the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. AIS currently employs more than 270 cyber engineers and scientists and has six locations throughout the United States.
“AIS has made significant contributions to our nation’s cyber and defense operations and remains an integral player in our region’s ever-growing cybersecurity ecosystem,” said Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, “They are a true success story and are representative of the talent and skill sets that are unique to our district.”
